I love Farmers Union coffee ... enough so that I upped my subscription to the 5 lb. bag. But the larger size also means that there's less opportunity to receive different blends to try. So I was disappointed that the shipment I received a couple days ago was the same (very large) bag I received in my prior shipment - and it honestly wasn't my favorite blend. I had been looking forward to getting the limited edition blend touted in a recent email (El Socorro Geisha). The subscription is roaster's choice, right? Why wouldn't that be what they choose to send subscribers? I don't want to bash a company whose products I really like. But if the subscription can't be set up to choose the blend, it should deliver the variety that comes with that setup.
I love the 5lb option. I go through about a bag of coffee a week, and so this lasts me about 6 weeks, which is nice, since I store in the freezer. Our office also orders these for once a week delivery. We spoil our staff :)
