Absolute favorite!

This bean is my current favorite! It has excellent flavor as a plain espresso and the flavor holds up wonderfully in an oat milk latte. :)

Delicious aroma and flavor

We'd been buying the YirgZ, Ethiopia beans for awhile, but decided to try the Bekele Kachara and really love the slight upgrade. It tastes less acidic than the YirgZ with notes of caramel. We drink with 2% milk in a cappuccino and the coffee is strong enough to hold its flavor, but not overly bitter. Also good as a pour over!

We keep a varied selection of Farmers Union beans on hand and the Bekele Kachara has become our go-to favorite for the morning straight shots (me) and almond/cashew milk cappuccino (my wife). Great color, crema, and aroma. (ground in Mignon Specialita and pulled in Rancilio Silvia.) We like this bean's versatility so much that we even take it on vacations for morning pour-overs. Equally as good either way but each method highlights the bean's flavors in a different way.

Delicious! My 2nd Fave

I've only had 3 days to try Bekele Kachara's beans, but I knew after the first few sips that it would be difficult for me to choose between this one and my other favorite which is the Fazenda do Condado from Brazil. For now this is my second favorite, but the difference in excellence is quite slender...I say this one is a "must try" and I'll def buy it again!
