About this coffee:

This coffee is grown under shade canopy, and is 100% Pluma variety.  The cooling breeze from the Pacific ocean ensures a long ripening period, and thus more complex flavor development and much more sweetness in the cup.  This coffee is loaded with notes of baked apple, grape compote, and sweet pipe tobacco in the finish.  

The Farmers:

This coffee was grown and cultivated by Garcia Luna and their extended family.  The Zapotec people who grow this coffee also have a tradition of keeping native bees for their honey, and to pollinate their abundant farms.  We are big fans of this holistic approach.

Our sourcing partners are proud to tell us they are paying the highest price in the region to the farmers of Rio de Abejas.

Local Pick Up:

You’ll receive an email when your order is ready for pickup.  Orders placed before 8am on Tuesday will be available to pick up after Noon on Wednesday.  Orders placed before 8am on Thursday will be available to pick up after Noon on Friday.

USPS Shipping:

If we receive your order before 8am on a Tuesday or Thursday, we will ship on the next day via USPS Priority Mail.  If we receive your order after 8am on a Tuesday or Thursday the order will ship the following shipment day.
