We’re all about Local

Our café and roastery was once home to the Pacific Coop Poultry Producers Egg-Taking Station, where farmers from across the Willamette Valley brought their eggs to be graded, packed, and shipped out.  They filled an entire train car every single day, bound to the east coast.

Today, almost a century later, we’re proud to keep eggs at the heart of this space. But these aren’t just any eggs.

We use pasture raised eggs from Upsidedown Eggs, where hens roam on an open pasture and live free. Their rich golden yolks and strong shells make everything better.

It’s our way of honoring the building’s roots, and doing what we know is right.

We think it’s worth it. We hope you do too.

Until Next Time,

The Farmers Union Coffee Roasters Team
