About this coffee:
This coffee is grown by "Wicho", a third generation Guatemalan coffee farmer who has an ever increasing standard of excellence at his coffee estates in Coban in the northern highlands.
This profile is selected by blending day lots that are tasted at harvest to ensure only the highest quality coffees are included.
The Amargo profile from Santa Isabel is coffee grown with a living soil style cultivation. No pesticides, fertilizers, or other chemicals are used to grow this crop outside of compost that is created at the farm with ingredients also grown on the farm.
This coffee is grown under forest canopy with the most sustainable growing practices we have ever seen.
This is a "F.U.C.R Certified Living Soil" coffee, representing the growing practices and farm management.
