About this coffee:
All of the coffee in this lot comes from farms located on the slopes of Volcan de Agua just overlooking the historic city of Antigua Guatemala. These farms are in an area called "Ojo de Agua".
Volcan de Agua towers over the central highlands of Guatemala and is a sacred site for the local Mayan peoples.
This is a washed coffee processed at La Esperanza wet mill in Antigua.
We were blown away by the qualities of coffees grown inside of this charming city. The coffee was almost as good as the wonderful people. Drinking this coffee takes us on a journey back to one of our favorite places. Join us on that journey!
Flavor Notes:
Layers of honey goodness, mixed in with chocolates and a big lucious mouthfeel.
The Farmers:
All of these coffees were processed by La Esperanza wet mill in Antigua. Each farm was specifically chosen and quality feedback was provided by the Esperanza team. The coffee was honestly so good we decided to keep it onboard year round.
